Bio
By way of Kansas City and Chicago to San Francisco...
"San Francisco singer/songwriter Stan Erhart exists in that blues-rock space occupied by John Hiatt, Warren Zevon, and Dave Alvin. With his weary, gravelly voice, Erhart exists well outside of the pop mainstream, but should find fans among those who seek a rootsy, American style..." Doug Cornell, HitSession.com

Growing up on a Kansas City area farm exposed Stan to hard work, John Deere tractors, and country music. His ever increasing interest in Blues and R&B led to a music degree in Michigan, relocation to the Chicago 'burbs, and several great years of club work before moving to San Francisco and forming his own band.

Today, The Stan Erhart Band performs its soulful mix of Blues, R&B, Rock, & Jazz all over the San Francisco Bay Area and further. Comprised of outstanding musicians such as bassist Michael Warren (credits: Merl Saunders, Leo Nocentelli, etc.), the band focuses on grooves, dynamics, and variation to create and sustain energy. In addition to their regular headline appearances, they've opened for blues luminaries Elvin Bishop, Tommy Castro, Roy Rogers, Chris Cain, and many others. They enjoy playing live and the vibes are catching.
